Round Torsion Steel Grille for 8" Speaker
Contoured steel torsion grille supports speaker assemblies up to 3.5 lbs. For assemblies heavier than 3.5 lbs. the torsion springs will support the grille only if the speaker is direct-mounted to the inner flange of Lowell IX Series backbox.
Lowell grille Model CN-8M is an attractive ceiling grille that satisfies architectural specifications requiring ceiling speakers to be void of visible mounting hardware. This grille has a contoured outer ring and fine-mesh interior. It utilizes concealed speaker studs and specially designed torsion devices to mount into torsion receptacles that are welded in specified Lowell backboxes (order separately). The grille is ideal for 8" or 6.5" speaker installations in upscale offices, hotels, retail, professional buildings, and dining establishments.
