Description
Square Surface Backbox for 4" Speaker & Screw-Mount Grille
Model CB44 is an attractive surface mount backbox for ceiling or wall installation of a 4" speaker in schools, offices, medical facili- ties, restaurants, hotels, and retail spaces. The clean, square de- sign is precision formed from 20-gauge steel with welded seams and includes 1/4" thick acoustic foam pad. Rear of backbox is punched with universal mounting pattern to install 4" square, 4" octagon, 1- or 2-gang E.O. box (not included). The rear also has a 0.375" hole for wire access. Front has formed flanges with U- clips to secure a 7" square screw-mount grille (model no. SG4, order separately).
