Description

RapcoHorizon NM1-10, 10-foot balanced XLR microphone cable

The RapcoHorizon NM1-10 is a finished 10-foot balanced microphone cable with Neutrik 3-pin XLR female and male connectors with silver contacts. Two 24-AWG copper conductors, a spiral copper shield and a flexible matte PVC jacket provide a practical connection for compatible microphones and balanced analog audio equipment.

Other lengths with Neutrik XLR connectors: 1 ft · 2 ft · 3 ft · 6 ft · 15 ft · 25 ft · 50 ft · 75 ft · 100 ft.

Check connections and routing

The female cable end mates with a typical microphone's male XLR output; the male cable end mates with a mixer, preamp or interface's female XLR input. Check both devices' signal requirements. This carries one balanced mono analog signal, not a stereo pair, and is not a speaker cable or purpose-specified AES/EBU or DMX cable. Allow length for routing, connector access and service slack.

Construction and handling

MIC1.K cable uses bare copper conductors and a bare annealed copper serve shield with 95% coverage. Its flexible, low-memory matte PVC jacket helps routing and coiling. Shielding supports noise control without guaranteeing elimination of hum or interference. The listed connector types are Neutrik NC3FXX and NC3MXX-style. Release the latch where applicable and grip the connector body, not the cable, when disconnecting.
