Dark Purple Techflex Flexo PET is an expandable PET monofilament braid for organizing cables, wire harnesses and compatible hoses. Its open weave provides a flexible covering with abrasion resistance and a tidy appearance. This is the nominal 1/4-inch size, sold by the foot.

Continuous-length ordering

Quantity 1 = 1 foot; quantity 10 = one continuous 10-foot length. Allow extra material for routing, end finishing and the length change that occurs when the braid expands over your bundle. Manufacturer 200-foot and 1,000-foot spool put-ups are packaging references, not the quantity purchased here.

Fit and installation

The listed expansion range is 1/8–7/16 inch. Measure the bundle and the largest connector the sleeve must pass over. Use this size's range rather than a generic percentage-expansion claim. The open weave spreads as diameter increases. This is not heat shrink: it does not shrink into place, seal out water or replace electrical insulation, shielding or connector strain relief.

Install before connector termination if the connector will not pass through. Compress the braid lengthwise to expand it, feed it over the bundle, then smooth it along the run. Avoid sharp edges, maintain the cable's bend radius and leave movement at connectors. A hot knife is the recommended cutting method for fused ends. Follow tool and manufacturer safety instructions, protect cable jackets from heat and let cuts cool. Secure ends using a suitable separately selected end treatment.
