4" Pyramid Foam (NRC: 0.65) offers premium sound absorption capabilities. It absorbs much more sound in the bass and low-midrange frequencies, making it well suited to large rooms, auditoriums, and concert halls.

Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) is a numerical representation of the average sound absorption of a material across four frequencies in the range of the human voice (250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1,000 Hz and 2,000 Hz). Thicker materials will generally have higher NRC values.

All of our pyramid studio foams meet ASTM E84 Class A rating for fire safety. ASTM E84 ratings are often sufficient for meeting fire safety standards. However, due to differences between local regulations, it is imperative that you always verify acceptable use of materials with local code enforcement authorities (e.g.: Fire Department) in your area before purchasing any products.
