Black/Silver right-angle 1/4-inch TS cable plug

The Neutrik NP2RX-BAG is a male, two-contact 1/4-inch TS mono cable plug with a Black chromium-plated diecast shell and Silver-colored contacts. Its right-angle design offers a sideways cable exit for builds where a straight plug would project in the wrong direction. This is a solder-on cable connector, not a finished cable.

Choose your finish

This listing is the Black/Silver NP2RX-BAG. The other standard finish options are Black/Gold NP2RX-B and Nickel/Silver NP2RX.

Choose TS for the right connection

The two contacts are tip and sleeve. Use this model where your equipment requires a 1/4-inch TS connection, such as an unbalanced mono instrument cable. It is not a three-contact TRS plug for balanced mono or stereo wiring. Confirm the connector type and pinout required by your equipment before ordering.

Cable fit and right-angle clearance

Fits cable outer diameters of 4–7 mm. The listed wire size is 18 AWG. Check both jacket diameter and conductor fit before assembly, including any shield or drain-wire bundle that must fit the sleeve termination.

The listed shell width is 14.5 mm. Check clearance around the equipment jack, neighboring plugs, recessed sockets, and the intended cable-exit direction. Shell width alone does not guarantee fit in every closely spaced jack layout.

Assembly

Soldering is required. Follow Neutrik’s cable-preparation and assembly instructions, fit the housing and bushing onto the cable before soldering, and secure the jacket with the chuck-type strain relief. Verify tip/sleeve continuity and check for shorts before use.
