Get the advantages of both floor-standing racks and wall-mounted cabinets in one. This unique tall wall rack pivots open 90 degrees on a floor base to provide access to rear equipment connections. Specify an SR Series enclosure for heavier installations that will connect to on-wall cabling or pull boxes, and when easy access to rear equipment connections is essential.

The SR-24-28 SR Series Pivoting Rack from Middle Atlantic is a fully welded steel rack with 24U capacity and a depth of 28". This unique rack is designed for flush mounting against a wall. The components in the rack remain hidden and protected by a pivoting door, which can be opened at any time to gain instant access to your equipment. A zero-clearance latch on the door saves valuable wall space by allowing wall racks to be placed side by side, in a corner, or in practically any other location without worries about side-clearance issues. Moreover, a low-friction wear strip on the bottom of the rack facilitates opening and closing the door.

The rack will support up to 500 lbs of equipment and the bottom cable-entry platform supports the entire weight of the rack on the floor. Its back pan features a large laser knock-out panel and will accommodate up to (4) 89-D brackets, (4) 1900 boxes, or (1) Raco 3-gang box when used with an optional sub plate. The rack features a black textured powder-coat finish and is UL listed in the United States and Canada.
