Description

The Lectrosonics IFBT2.0 UHF dual-channel IFB rack transmitter brings flexible audio connectivity and two independent transmitters to broadcast studios, film and television sets, and location sound carts. Its half-rack enclosure delivers the same rack density as shelf-mounted IFBT4 units, allowing four channels in a single rack space.

Frequency version: B1 (537–608 MHz). Need the other band? See the Lectrosonics IFBT2.0 A1 (470–537 MHz).

Flexible Inputs for Broadcast and Production

Menu-selectable inputs accommodate analog mic- and line-level audio, Dante, AES digital audio, Clear-Com, and RTS. DC blocking allows connection to “wet” audio lines where DC voltage is present, making it easier to integrate the transmitter with existing intercom and production audio systems.

Compatibility with Lectrosonics Receivers

IFB and NU/EU Hybrid compatibility modes support prior Lectrosonics IFB receivers, including IFBR1, IFBR1A, IFBR1B, and IFBR1C (IFBlue). Hybrid receiver compatibility includes Venue, Venue 2, UCR411a, R400a, and LR, as well as digital receivers with Hybrid compatibility, including DCR822, DSR, DSR4, M2Ra, and DSQD. Select the appropriate compatibility mode and matching operating frequency for your receiver.

RF Control for Coordinated Systems

A circulator/isolator at each channel’s RF output helps prevent external RF signals from entering the transmitter. This reduces the generation of intermodulation products and supports tighter frequency coordination, even at higher RF power settings. North American versions offer selectable output levels of 10, 25, 50, 100, and 250 mW; EU versions offer 10, 25, and 50 mW.

Setup and Monitoring with Wireless Designer

USB-C and Ethernet connections support system monitoring, frequency coordination, setup, and control through Lectrosonics Wireless Designer version 2.1.10 or higher for Mac and PC. USB-C also supports firmware updates. Onboard menus provide access to RF power, frequency, compatibility mode, transmit status, input type, test tone generation, and more.

IFB and Point-to-Point Audio

Use the IFBT2.0 as an IFB base-station transmitter or as a point-to-point audio transmitter. In NU/EU Hybrid modes, it provides a flat 40 Hz–20 kHz frequency response without audio companding for full-fidelity audio transmission. Ultra-quiet fan cooling supports operation in demanding production environments.
