Emtech BLU-SM Sacrament Microphone

Emtech BLU-SM table-mounted sacrament microphone

The Emtech BLU-SM is an electret condenser microphone designed for LDS chapel installations using BSS London Series digital signal processors. Its dark brown, 18-gauge steel housing mounts to the front of the sacrament table.

Lower the panel to activate the microphone

The microphone is activated by lowering the front panel. An LED lights when the panel is lowered to indicate that the microphone is on.

Check your chapel system before ordering

The BLU-SM has a 3-pin male XLR output and requires phantom power from the mixer. Confirm the existing chapel audio system, microphone input, phantom-power requirements, and installation wiring before ordering a replacement or planning a new installation. The supplied specifications do not state a phantom-power voltage range; verify that requirement with Emtech or your system installer rather than assuming compatibility with every powered input.

Listed dimensions are 3.1 in. high × 1.2 in. deep × 9.75 in. long. Check the available space and mounting surface on the front of the sacrament table. Use the included installation template to plan the mounting position.
