Blue Canare DA202 110-ohm AES/EBU digital audio cable

Blue Canare DA202 is a compact, two-conductor, shielded 25-AWG cable for 110-ohm AES/EBU digital audio connections. Sold by the foot, it lets you order the length needed for custom cable assemblies and digital audio patchbay wiring.

A smaller version of Canare DA206, DA202 uses a polyethylene rod configuration designed to maintain consistent 110-ohm impedance as the cable bends during installation. A braided shield with greater than 95% coverage and an integral drain wire make shield and ground termination practical for rack and patchbay work.

How to order

Sold by the foot. The quantity you enter is the total length in feet, not the number of separate pieces. For example, quantity 25 means one continuous 25-foot piece, not twenty-five 1-foot pieces. Enter quantity 100 for one continuous 100-foot piece. This listing is specifically the Blue jacket option.

Plan your installation

Check your connector's cable-entry and strain-relief compatibility against the nominal 0.197-inch (5.0 mm) outside diameter. For IDC punch-down blocks and 110-ohm digital audio patchbays, confirm that the terminals support this cable's 25-AWG stranded conductors.

The existing cable specification lists a maximum recommended AES/EBU run of approximately 590 feet (180 meters). Treat this as a planning guideline, not a guaranteed distance for every system; confirm the requirements of your connected equipment and complete signal path.
