Audix NCR1 Novacore Single-Channel Digital Wireless Receiver (494-542 MHz)

Build a single-channel Novacore wireless microphone setup.

The Audix NCR1 Novacore is a compact digital UHF wireless receiver for one compatible Novacore handheld or bodypack transmitter at a time. This 494–542 MHz version offers a 48 MHz tuning range, AES-256 encryption, and one-touch infrared synchronization for pairing the receiver and transmitter during setup.

Match your transmitter and frequency range

Choose a compatible Novacore transmitter with a matching operating band. The NCR1 is a receiver, not a complete wireless microphone system; a transmitter and the appropriate microphone are required separately. IR sync simplifies pairing, but it does not replace checking frequency compatibility or selecting a suitable channel for the venue.

Check RF and audio status at the front panel

The LCD displays RF and audio levels, group/channel assignment, diversity status, transmitter battery condition, and squelch information. Additional settings are available through the MODE menu, giving you access to system parameters without a separate control screen. Listed audio latency is less than 3 ms.

Coordinate a larger receiver setup

Dual rear RJ11 ports support daisy-chaining for use with Audix Frequency Coordination software without a network switch. Follow Audix's connection requirements when building the control link. These ports are for the supported coordination connection, not general-purpose Ethernet or telephone service.

Connect to your mixer or audio system

A balanced XLR line-level output includes selectable output-level settings and a ground lift. Match the receiver's output setting to the receiving input and adjust gain to leave headroom. The output connection feeds compatible audio equipment; it does not power a passive loudspeaker.

Use the included external 12V DC supply, which accepts 100–240V AC, 50/60 Hz mains input. Optional single- or dual-receiver rack mounting kits provide installation options when you are ready to move the receiver into a rack.
