Moving Coil Turntable Cartridge With Microlinear Stylus Delivers Exquisite, Full-Range Audio Reproduction

Building upon the success of the AT33PTG, the Audio-Technica Consumer AT33PTG/2 features a shortened and thinned cantilever with a lower coil impedance, which translates to low-distortion and high performance, even when playing the inner circumference of a record. The Microlinear stylus, which has an average life span of around 1000 hours, is mounted on a nude tapered boron cantilever with a double damper for reduced weight and better audio quality.

The cartridge uses a neodymium magnet and a permendur yoke for dramatically enhanced magnetic energy, while the two coils provide remarkable channel separation. The strong, lightweight mold made of hard resin greatly reduces unwanted vibrations, while the PCOCC coils ensure pure audio transmission. The AT33PTG/2 includes a non-magnetic screwdriver, mounting hardware, plastic protector, and a set of PCOCC lead wires.

Note: Moving coil cartridges require receivers or preamps with compatible inputs; their stylus assemblies are not field-replaceable.
