The ART Solo Series is a range of highly affordable, all-analog, single-channel processors. They offer flexible tone shaping with intuitive controls and the unmistakable sound of real tubes.

The Solo VLA is a rackmount compressor with switchable opto and FET voicings for your choice of smooth or punchy dynamic processing. The optical mode features a 12AT7 tube in the signal path for additional warmth.

In addition to variable threshold, ratio, attack, and release, it also features a blend control for parallel compression. This lets you add the fullness and sustain from your compressed signal while preserving the full dynamic range of your original performance.

The compressor circuit can be bypassed for easy comparison, and the switchable VU meter can monitor gain reduction or output level.
