AKG PZM11LLWR Weather-Resistant Wall Plate Security Microphone

Speech pickup for outdoor intercoms and security installations

The AKG PZM11LLWR is a professional weather-resistant boundary-layer microphone designed for fast-food restaurants, outdoor intercoms, toll booths, SOS telephones, and theme-park security installations. Its hemispherical polar pattern provides clear, intelligible pickup of speech.

Power and audio connection

The PZM11LLWR requires 12–24V DC power and provides line-level audio output. It can connect directly to a VCR line input without a separate microphone preamplifier. Before ordering, check that your installation provides the required DC power and a suitable line-level input.

Weather-resistant performance

A plastic membrane inside the microphone protects the capsule from water damage, allowing operation during and after rainfall. If water freezes on the membrane, the frequency response changes temporarily. Normal response returns when the ice melts and the membrane dries.
