Combining strength and lightness, the 1535AirTP Wheeled Carry-On Case with TrekPak Insert 2017 in black from Pelican is watertight, crushproof, dustproof, and optimized for travel. For travel by air, Pelican has aggregated available airline rules for maximum overhead and check-in dimensions with the goal of creating a case that conforms to their requirements. Your 1535AirTP case is made of a super-light, proprietary HPX polymer (with honeycomb structural elements) that is up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers. This confidence-inspiring design has been drop-tested on concrete on all sides and corners while loaded with gear. The case is also tested with a 28-pound steel dart dropped from a height of three feet, submerged for 30 minutes at a depth of 3.3 feet, and the wheels are roll tested over 1000 yards with loads at 5 mph.

The case has ABS double-throw latches that accept a user-supplied padlock, a watertight O-ring gasket, an automatic purge valve, and stainless steel hasp protectors. Users will appreciate the conic-curved lid shape, the rubber overmolded handles, and the extending trolley handle. For easy case identification, a removable polycarbonate card holder may be placed on the front or side of the case.

Besides being lighter than traditional padded dividers, the TrekPak Divider System uses preinstalled wall sections, divider panels, locking pins, and an easy-to-use cutting tool. Simply lay your gear in the case, measure and cut the divider sections, and lock them in place with the steel U-pins. Extra divider material is included for occasions where your equipment requirements vary. The 7/16" thick divider sections are made of waterproof, closed-cell foam that is laminated to a rigid, corrugated plastic panel to resist tearing and shredding. The TrekPak is combined with a 1" top and bottom foam to give your gear 360-degree protection. This TrekPak/Foam Hybrid configuration combines the benefits of TrekPak dividers with a Pick-n-Pluck foam section.
