Nickel/Silver Neutrik NC4MXX male four-pin XLR cable connector

Nickel/Silver Neutrik NC4MXX combines a nickel-plated metal housing with silver-plated contacts. This XX-Series male four-pin XLR cable-end connector uses solder contacts and chuck-type strain relief for custom cable assembly. It is a connector component, not a finished cable or panel-mount receptacle.

Check mating connector, pinout and cable fit

This is a four-pin XLR, not a standard three-pin microphone connector. Confirm that the equipment requires a mating female four-pin XLR and verify every pin assignment. Matching pin count and physical fit do not establish electrical compatibility.

Fits cable jackets from 3.5 to 8.0 mm outside diameter. The listed maximum wire size is 1.5 mm² / 16 AWG. Check actual conductor construction, contact fit and strain-relief grip before assembly.

Assembly guidance

Fit the boot and housing parts onto the cable before soldering. Follow Neutrik's preparation and assembly instructions, identify pins from the correct viewing side, and prevent solder bridges or loose strands. Secure the chuck to the cable jacket, not the individual wires. Test continuity, shorts and any required polarity before connecting equipment.
