The JBL Control 47C/T in-ceiling loudspeaker features extended bass performance with a wide 120° of conical coverage that allows for fewer speakers to cover a larger space. The Control 47C/T from JBL is a premium in-ceiling professional loudspeaker system designed for applications that need extraordinarily wide bandwidth in conjunction with very consistent coverage.

Featuring JBL's exclusive conical Radiation Boundary Integrator (RBI), the RBI provides an oversized waveguide for the loudspeaker whereas low-frequency sound comes through specially-designed apertures within the RBI, providing a seamless integration of coverage between the 2 coaxially-mounted drivers. The result is a very consistent sound character with little or no variation throughout your listening area. The wide coverage permits for the utilization of fewer loudspeakers as compared to speakers with less consistent coverage management, while at the same time providing higher coverage of the space.

The large backcan on the JBL Control 47C/T in-ceiling loudspeaker, in conjunction with the design of the low frequency driver, allows for extended bass response resulting in a warm full-bodied tone. The system's 165 millimeter (6.5 inch) woofer features a polypropylene cone and a pure butyl-rubber surround for long life. The copper-clad aluminum voice coil is wound around a vented aluminum former, providing low distortion and high sensitivity. The coaxially mounted 25 millimeter (1 inch) soft dome tweeter boasts internal damping for smooth extended frequency response and ferrofluid cooling for added power handling and reduced power compression. This all adds up to crisp, clear highs.

Great for small and huge projects alike, the JBL Control 47C/T in-ceiling loudspeaker is switchable for use as either an 8-ohm low-impedance speaker, or as a part of a 70V/100V distributed speaker system.
