Description
Audio onto Telephone Interface
The EJ-R provides a one-way ramp for putting line level audio signals on to a telephone line. Simply hook-up the EJ-R between the base of a telephone and the phone handset, then connect a line level audio signal via the 1/4" jack on the side of the EJ-R, and the audio signal will be placed on the telephone line. Then use either an EJ-10 or the TTIAB to take the signal off the telephone line on the other end.
Now you have an affordable solution for distance learning in multiple classrooms, or for broadcasting a meeting to multiple locations.
The EJ-R is an passive device. No power source is needed to operate the EJ-R. The EJ-R has a switch for muting the telephone handset once a connection is established, thus avoiding ambient noise on the telephone connection. It also comes with a 3" telephone cord to assist in making the connection between the phone and handset.
