4" Speaker Tile Bridge for Speakers without Backbox

A tile bridge is often required by local building codes for safety reasons as well as for improved aesthetics in suspended 2'x2' or 2'x4' tile ceilings. It distributes the speaker's weight to the ceiling support structure, reducing the likelihood of tiles sagging under the weight of heavy speakers.

NOTE: This tile bridge is meant for infinite baffle installation only. It will not accept a backbox.

Model LBS4-DX: is designed specifically to mount 4" (EIA 5") speakers with torsion or screw mount grilles to backbox Models DX104T, DX104 and CP4 as noted.

Model LBS4-R: includes clips for mounting a 4" (EIA 5") speaker with screw mount grille Model WB-4 and NO BACKBOX. As with all projects, speaker installation should be performed per local building codes and regulations, many of which require a backbox for speaker installation.
