Description
150 Watt Volume Control with Rotary Switch and Two-Gang Wall Plate - Decora Stainless Steel & Black
The 150LVCS-series of volume controls with 150 watt power rating are engineered for three types of 70/100V control applications: dis- tributed mono systems, distributed mono systems with subwoofer and distributed stereo systems. Devices are offered in 2-gang and rackmount configurations. All include phoenix-style plug-in screw ter- mination strips for pre-wire convenience with wire capacity up to 14- gauge. Attenuation is 3dB per step with two positions of 6dB prior to OFF as noted in schematic.
- Model No's. 150LVCS and 150LVCS-DSB: assemblies will mount in a 2-gang E.O. box with minimum depth of 2.5" (including mud ring, if used). Model 150LVCS has a one-piece stainless steel wall plate. Model 150LVCS-DSB has a Decora-style stainless steel plate with black plastic sub-plate.
- Model No. 150LVCS-RMDB: rackmount assembly with black Dec- ora sub-plate is designed for installation in Lowell panels with Dec- ora-style cutouts (Order Model D8P-ID-3 or D9P-ID-3 separately. Due to the control's 3.437" width; two controls may NOT be in- stalled side by side in either panel. Controls may be installed in al- ternate positions with a blank plate between. Panel D8P-ID-3 will accept 4 controls. Panel D9P-ID-3 will accept 5 controls. Order blank filler plates (DBB-4) as needed.
- Model No. 150LVCS-RM: traditional rackmount assembly includes control with exposed shaft, knob and adhesive label with dial scale. It's designed for custom applications or installation in Lowell panel LVC8P-ID-2 (order separately). Due to the control's 3.437" width two units may NOT be installed side by side in the panel. They may be installed in alternate positions (4 total).
