Adapter Cable from Miniature Multi-Pin to XLR-3 AK Surround M/4U (M/5U)

The AK Surround M/4U breakout cable divides the signals from a multi-pin miniature Binder socket connector to four XLR-3M plugs. It is also available in a five-channel version as the AK Surround M/5U. For six-channel applications, the M/6U splitter box is available.

The AK Surround M/4U is further available as the AK Surround H M/4U with a connector for heater powering; an AC power supply is then included, which delivers 13 Volts at 350 mA for the heater built in to the windscreen of the ORTF Surround or ORTF-3D system. Instead of the AC power supply, a battery pack can be used (12 VDC at >= 350 mA, or a constant current supply of 350 mA at min. 20 Volts open circuit).
