Description

Build a twelve-channel audio snake

Mogami W2933 is a twelve-channel multipair audio cable for custom studio snakes and balanced audio cable assemblies. Sold by the foot, it combines twelve individually twisted, shielded pairs within a Black outer jacket.

Numbered channel jackets and color-coded pairs help you keep connections organized during assembly. Each channel has its own served copper shield and drain wire to simplify termination.

Plan your connectors and breakout

The cable’s approximate 14.3 mm overall diameter is an important check when selecting connector housings and strain relief. Each channel contains two 26-AWG signal conductors plus a separate drain wire.

Match your connector contacts to the conductor sizes, and allow room to support and protect all twelve pairs at the breakout. Follow the connector manufacturer’s preparation and wiring instructions.
