Description

Build a two-channel audio snake

Mogami W2930 is a two-channel multipair audio cable for custom studio snakes and balanced audio cable assemblies. Sold by the foot, it combines two individually twisted, shielded pairs within a compact Black outer jacket.

Numbered channel jackets and color-coded pairs help you identify connections during assembly. Each channel has its own served copper shield and drain wire to simplify termination.

Plan your connectors and breakout

The cable’s approximate 7.5 mm overall diameter is an important check when selecting connector housings and strain relief. Each channel contains two 26-AWG signal conductors plus a separate drain wire.

Match your connector contacts to the conductor sizes, and plan how each pair will be supported and protected at the breakout. Follow the connector manufacturer’s preparation and wiring instructions.
