Black Mogami W2368 is a miniature single-conductor, shielded cable for compatible unbalanced microphone and lavalier wiring. Its flexible PVC jacket and reinforcing fillers within the conductor support compact cable assemblies. This is bulk cable with no connectors installed, not a finished microphone lead.

Check microphone wiring and connector fit

W2368 has one insulated conductor plus a served shield. It is an unbalanced configuration, not a two-conductor balanced microphone cable or a four-conductor star-quad cable. Confirm the microphone and equipment wiring before choosing it.

For lavalier or bodypack applications, check the required connector, pinout, bias or power arrangement and conductor count. Connector shape alone does not establish compatibility, and this cable does not convert one manufacturer's microphone wiring to another's. Follow the microphone and transmitter instructions rather than assuming a universal signal-and-shield pin assignment.

Check the cable's outside diameter against the connector entry and strain-relief range before assembly. The original listing contains conflicting jacket-diameter figures, so a single outside diameter is not quoted here. Use termination techniques suitable for the fine 28-AWG conductor and the selected connector. Keep shield strands away from signal contacts, avoid overheating the insulation, secure the cable with the connector's strain relief, and test continuity and for shorts before connecting equipment. Reinforcing fillers support mechanical strength but do not make the cable immune to pulling, tight bends or repeated abuse.
