This SKB Custom Case for DK7 Gen 2 from Earthworks has been specifically created to house and protect the seven-piece drum microphone set and is identical to the one originally included in the mic package; it is available as a replacement, should the original become lost or damaged. Touring musicians will be delighted to find this smaller second-generation road case is more rugged, more durable, and easier to pack, load, and ship than the original.

The interior is made of high-quality, custom-cut PE foam, while the exterior is fashioned from high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin. Note the gasketed, waterproof, airtight, and submersible design, which is rated IP67 waterproof and dustproof. The case is also resistant to corrosion and impact damage. A molded-in hinge, patented trigger-release latch system, over-molded cushion-grip handle, and automatic ambient-pressure-equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C) all contribute to its military-grade design.
