Description

Bring two Novacore wireless microphone channels into your audio system.

The Audix NCR2 Novacore combines two digital UHF receiver channels in one chassis, with balanced XLR analog outputs and Dante network audio. This 494–542 MHz version offers a 48 MHz tuning range for a two-microphone setup or as part of a larger coordinated Novacore system.

Match your transmitters and frequency range

Use compatible Novacore NCHH handheld or NCBP bodypack transmitters with a matching operating band. Each receiver channel handles one transmitter, allowing two separate wireless microphone signals at the same time. Transmitters and the appropriate microphones are required separately; this listing is for the receiver.

IR synchronization simplifies pairing, and AES-256 encryption supports encrypted wireless audio. Pairing does not replace selecting suitable frequencies and checking the complete system at the venue.

Choose analog or network audio connections

Balanced XLR outputs provide an analog connection to compatible audio equipment. Dante lets you route the receiver's audio channels over an Ethernet network to Dante-enabled mixers and other destinations, reducing the need for individual analog cable runs. AES67 support provides an additional interoperability option when the network and receiving devices are configured appropriately.

Plan network routing, clocking, and device compatibility before the event. Network audio capability does not make the receiver a general-purpose wireless network device or guarantee automatic routing to every connected product.

Build a coordinated wireless setup

The NCR2 is suitable for speech, vocals, and performance applications where two wireless channels are needed together. Listed audio latency is less than 3 ms, with a listed dynamic range of 110 dB. For larger deployments, coordinate frequencies across the full system rather than assuming a fixed number of channels will work at every location. Available spectrum, local RF activity, antenna placement, and the installation affect the result.

Power the receiver with the included supply

The included PS12V external supply delivers 12V DC and accepts 100–240V AC, 50/60 Hz mains input. Two detachable BNC antennas are included. Position antennas according to Audix's installation guidance and check reception throughout the intended performance area.
