Audix NCBPADX10 Novacore UHF Digital Bodypack Transmitter with ADX10 Lavalier Microphone (494-542 MHz)

Add a hands-free lavalier microphone to your Novacore wireless setup.

The Audix NCBPADX10 pairs an NCBP digital UHF bodypack transmitter with an ADX10 cardioid lavalier condenser microphone. It gives presenters, clergy, performers, and broadcast talent a compact microphone-and-transmitter combination for speech and live sound. This 494–542 MHz bundle requires a compatible Novacore receiver, sold separately; it is not a complete wireless system on its own.

Keep the microphone close without holding it

The miniature ADX10 connects to the bodypack's TA3M input using its TA3F termination. Its cardioid pickup pattern favors sound from the front of the capsule over sound arriving from other directions. Position and orient the microphone toward the speaker's voice, and keep clothing from rubbing against it.

During a presentation or service, consistent placement helps maintain a more consistent speech level while leaving the user's hands free. Check the microphone with the actual sound system before use; a directional pickup pattern does not eliminate feedback or replace careful loudspeaker placement.

Set gain and mute control for the application

The NCBP offers input gain from -12 to +18 dB in 6 dB steps, plus a low-cut filter, limiter, and phase-invert function. Set gain with the speaker or performer at their expected level, then check the receiver and mixer levels. A limiter is not a substitute for appropriate gain staging.

A dedicated 3.5 mm remote-mute input accepts a compatible external latching or momentary switch, sold separately. This provides a wired mute-control connection to the bodypack, not a second audio input or a network-based front-of-house remote.

Match the receiver and operating band

The transmitter uses AES-256 encrypted digital transmission and IR synchronization with a compatible Novacore receiver. Match transmitter and receiver operating bands, select suitable frequencies, and test reception throughout the intended performance area. IR sync simplifies pairing but does not eliminate the need for frequency coordination and coverage checks.

If you later change microphones, select a model with the correct termination, wiring, and power requirements for the NCBP. A TA3F connector that physically fits does not establish compatibility by itself.

Plan battery power and charging

The bodypack operates on two AA alkaline batteries or one NCLB rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Listed runtime is 9+ hours; plan battery changes around actual operating conditions rather than treating that figure as a guarantee.

A built-in USB-C port provides a charging connection for use with the appropriate rechargeable battery. Do not attempt to recharge alkaline AA batteries. The USB-A to USB-C cable is included; batteries and a USB power source are not listed in the packing list below.
