Magnetized Vent Blocker Kit for 27" & 32" Deep WRK Racks

Middle Atlantic Products' VBK-W27-W32 Vent Blocker Kit for 27.0" (68.58 cm) and 32.0" (81.28 cm) Deep WRK Series Racks is an accessory used to close improperly positioned vents. When using active thermal management, vents placed too close to an exhaust fan do more harm than good. Misplaced vents can also re-circulate hot air instead of letting it escape. Cover up badly positioned vents with included magnetic blocker strips.

By helping air flow in one direction from lower intake vents through a top fan, vent blocker strips promote strategic thermal management. Your equipment will stay cooler and run more efficiently than in a badly managed cooling system.

Vent blockers are used to prevent the recirculation of hot air between top-mount fans and nearby vent openings. Vent blockers should be placed over the enclosure's vents located on the upper front of the enclosure, upper sides, and upper rear door (depending on enclosure). This will ensure that heated enclosure air will be forced out through the top-mounted exhaust fans instead of re-circulating, keeping equipment cool.
