Surface-mount baffle for wall or ceiling installation of a single 8 inch driver in corridor or concourse area includes two grilles allowing sound to radiate from behind and in front of the driver for greater coverage.

Model BSG-8 is an attractive bi-directional surface baffle for installation of a single 8" speaker to provide bi-directional sound projection in corridor or concourse areas. The surface mount baffle includes two grilles (front and rear) to allow sound to radiate from behind the loudspeaker, as well as the front, achieving greater sound coverage and increased efficiency. The clean, square baffle design is precision formed from 20-gauge steel with welded corners and two pre-mounted (SG-8) steel grilles with welded speaker studs. The baffle features a 2" square opening in one side for wire access and is punched for flush mounting to a standard E.O. box. The baffle may be mounted on the wall or ceiling to provide bi-directional sound projection of a single 8" speaker (order separately). The baffle and grilles are finished in durable white powder epoxy for long-lasting quality appearance.
