Multi-Pattern Large-Diaphragm Dual-Output-Mode Condenser MicrophoneChange the polar-pattern, even after you finish recording
Designed and engineered in Austria, LEWITT's new LCT 640 TS is going to revolutionize the way we think about the whole recording process. When set to Dual Output Mode the signal of the mics front and back diaphragm is provided by separate circuitries, and any kind of polar pattern can be realized dynamically - even after your recording is complete. Material that has already been recorded can be changed on the fly by simply adjusting the polar pattern - room sound/noise can be added or decreased, even a complete pattern turn by 180° is possible. After recording with the LCT 640 TS microphone you can use LEWITT's Polarizer plug-in to tweak the result with magical ease. When in Multi-Pattern Mode the LCT 640 TS mic has all the standard characteristics of a great sounding studio multi-pattern condenser microphone. It features five polar pickup patterns: omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, supercardioid and figure-8. What's more, Perfect Match technology takes care that all LCT 640 TS will always form a matched pair, or triplet, or quadruplet... You get the idea. The Dual Output Mode allows you to record Mid Side stereo with only a single LCT 640 TS microphone - a feat normally only possible when combining two microphones. Clipping History, 4 low-cut and pre-attenuation settings round off the amazing features of the LCT 640 TS. The LCT 640 TS opens doors to a whole new world of recording techniques and options you've never dreamt of before.
A True Next-Generation Studio Microphone - Easily change the polar pattern in postproduction
Designed and engineered in Austria, the LCT 640 TS is going to revolutionize the way the recording process is approached. Since the signal of the front and back diaphragms are provided on completely independent circuitries, any kind of polar pattern can be obtained dynamically - even after the recording, no more hoping you picked the right microphone for the job, you can change your mind at any time, even in postproduction.
All New Dual Output Mode
The LCT 640 TS provides the signals of the front and the back capsules separately. In addition to your standard XLR cable, you can plug in the included mini 3-pin XLR cable and experience all the possibilities of this true next-generation microphone. Using both outputs you can capture the whole session instead of committing to a single source.
Change any material you have already recorded dynamically in postproduction by simply adjusting the polar pattern, add or subtract room, and even turn your microphone around by 180°.
Think About All the Amazing New Possibilities!
Polarizer Plug-In - Change Pattern in your DAW
After you finish recording with the LCT 640 TS microphone, use LEWITT's Polarizer plug-in to change the pattern. Jump back and tweak your material.
Standard Multi-Pattern Mode
Plug in one 3-pin XLR cable and you have a large diaphragm multi-pattern condenser microphone featuring the following five polar patterns: omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, supercardioid and figure-8.
Magnetic Pop Filter - Hides Nothing, Captures Everything - Except Plosives and Hisses.
This efficient pop filter, which attaches magnetically, will effectively reduce pops and hisses, and won't covering 2/3 of your vocal artists face. This is on of the most subtle and convenient ways of making sure you get the most out of every single recording.
MS Stereo with One LCT 640 TS Microphone? Definitely!
Usually, mid-side stereophony can only be accomplished with the use of two microphones. But now, it is easier than ever! Simply use one LCT 640 TS microphone. Just point the side of the microphone towards the signal source and record both signals on a stereo track in your DAW. You can change the panorama for both signals to adjust the width of the stereo effect.
Perfect Match Technology - The Future of Stereo Microphone Pairing
Any two LCT 640 TS microphones will always form a matched pair. It's that simple! Add another one and you will get a "matched triplet", and so on. Every single LCT 640 TS microphone undergoes a strict series of measurements followed by adjustment of the polarization voltage. This way LEWITT is able to achieve exactly the same sensitivity in every microphone.
Clipping History - Innovative Features Make Life Easier
It is easy to miss if clipping occurred during the recording. Clipping History indication lets you know if the microphone has clipped since it was last turned on. Now you can stop worrying and keep your attention on more important things.
